Mirror Dance: An Original Film
We're excited to share that FYU-CHUR Recording Studio has recently collaborated with the film's leading actor/producer/writer Kelly Holstrom as well as supporting actor Jackie Diehl from our very own studio in the award-winning film Mirror Dance. FYU-CHUR had the honor of producing and engineering the song "It's Alright," performed by Jon Worthy, which was featured in the film's finale dance sequence.
Mirror Dance is a emotional film that raises awareness about eating disorders, particularly focusing on Binge Eating Disorder. Kelly Holstrom delivers a moving performance as the protagonist, while Jackie plays as the supportive best friend. The film was recognized at the Playhouse West Film Festival in Philadelphia, taking home two Audience Choice Awards and two Grand Jury Awards. Additionally, Jackie's performance earned her a Grand Jury Nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Short Film.
